Photography for me is a state of mind. It is quite clear that the most pure and direct response to the world around me arises as I empty myself completely of expectations. It is a process of responding aesthetically and emotionally to my surroundings. I follow my instincts to “find rather than seek” as in Picasso’s words visual beauty and capture it in an image. I do not plan concepts in advance apart for, where I am going to be and who or what I am going to be with. Sometimes I just wander around aimlessly. My photography is an act of love.
